This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

I go to Salon Kismit on same strip...the gals there just love your restaurant and really promote it. I am a Palliative care nurse and stopped for lunch one day last month...was very impressed. Relaxing, smooth and lovely place to eat. My son came into Phoenix for a conference, from Ft Collins Colorado and my sis was here from Columbus Ohio so I made reservations early. Requested something for his birthday also. We got right in even though we were 15 minutes late, our waitress was darling and very professional and accommodati... read more
We took our out-of-town guests here, real foodies who have traveled a lot, and they loved the food as did we. Everything was perfect..both eye-appealing, correct temperature and oh so scrumptious! What a lovely night. We all left happy. Kudos!
We enjoyed our meal at the Phoenix City Grille. Service was good. They had our reservations ready and we did not have to wait. There is a nice choice of food on the menu and everything was very fresh. We enjoyed it!
Food was excellent and service even better. Open table reviews help my decision to try out this place and glad we did. From hostess to server, they we all friendly and happy to have us. Although the food is considered All American, it had a delicious twist to every dish that we tried. We will definitely be back.
We were visiting Phoenix and our hosts were taking us to their favorites, none of which was particularly great. Got on Open Table on my phone and found Phoenix City Grill. Great find. Every thing we ordered was well prepared and presented. Prices were reasonable. Our hosts have a new favorite.
The appetizer and entrees are very good and service is very good too. I would give it 5 star if it wasn't for the drink. The mojito is bland and taste more like light lemonade.
The food is so good at this restaurant! Love the PCG Pasta dish - my favorite! When we have guests in town, we always think of Phoenix City Grille as an excellent choice. Never been disappointed!
Great spot for dinner (haven't tried it for lunch yet). Menu has selections for all tastes and the variety made it hard to decide what to order. The cedar plank salmon was great as was the grilled asparagus. My companion enjoyed a vegetarian sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes and said every bite was perfect. Large wine menu with many affordable options and several intriguing types of alternate drinks. Will definitely go back. They had the accommodations we reserved ready when we arrived.
We were a group of seven and I'm glad we chose Phoenix City Grille. Everyone liked what they had and the service was excellent. The reservation we made was for 6:00 pm on a Friday, so the place was pretty crowded. The staff were understanding of us. Not everyone in our party made it on time and they were nice about seating us a little late. My wife and I have also eaten there in a weeknight, when traffic and parking aren't a problem in Phoenix. I definitely will come back.
