I took some friends (two adults and their 2.5 year old kid) from out of town to the Phoenix City Grille, and it was great! The mom has celiac disease (she has actually been diagnosed, so *for real* no gluten for her), the dad is vegan, and I am on a low-carb diet. We were basically a server's worst nightmare, but she never batted an eye at all the special requests and substitutions. PCG offers consistently high quality food at reasonable prices in an attractive environment. While sometimes it's easy to forget they're just around the corner, they deserve our loyalty.
We were a party of 4 and the evening was enjoyed by all. After an appetizer of Griddled Corn Cakes with Black Beans and a very pleasant ambiance background, the dinner began on a very high note. The waitress was great and the ensuing entrees of steak, trout and ribs all were prepared well and were delicious. Desserts were also delicious. I certainly would recommend this restaurant.
Sunday brunch was delightful. Everyone enjoyed their selections. The menu has some interesting twists on old favorites like eggs Benedict with filet mignon and chipotle hollandaise or pork tenderloin on corn cake instead of an English muffin. The griddles corn cakes are to die for. Sweet, savory, and a bit spicy, plus bacon!
It was my first time here, and everything was OUTSTANDING. I would highly encourage others to try this restaurant.

My husband and I have been going here for years, and have never had a bad meal! It's a wonderful go-to neighborhood restaurant, and we tell everyone we know about it. Obviously, we wholeheartedly applaude this great restaurant!
