Had lunch with a friend. I had the pot roast and my friend had the house salad with chicken. Both dishes were visually appealing, but even better to consume. Great ambiance and decor. Service was outstanding. Will go back again and again.
My colleagues and I were in Phoenix for a conference and enjoyed dinner twice at the Phoenix City Grille. The menu is not vast but they do have some great items. The beef tenderloin and raspberry almond-crusted tilapia were the two entrees I enjoyed. The flavor was fantastic and the meat quality high. They do have a full bar with an interesting beer & wine list. The appetizers are quite good but a little expensive for the serving size. We may be the longest-visiting PCG patrons and that is not only because the food and ambiance, etc., is great, it is always, without fail, reliable. The service and food is head and shoulders above other restaurants with creative menus. I don't know how the wait staff is trained but if the secret got out...wow! Sheldon"s (the owner) presence is very important and he never fails to greet and inquire if we are satisfied. Of course we will return!
Great food and good service--we had a new server, so she made a couple of goofs--but that didn't hinder our enjoyment...

The hostess was very accommodating regarding table choice, given this was the first meeting with a business contact who was late and whom I had not yet met. We had a lovely evening at the Grille. We will return even though we live in Anthem, and it is quite a drive. We had the ribs, and The meat literally fell off of the bone. Yum!!The service was good and friendly. It was a bit noisy, but the good points outweigh the bad...

Fantastic food in a more residential area. A nice variety of food choices in all categories and the 5 people in our party are all goodies - in the restaurant business and we were all pl eased with the appetizers, food and drinks. We'll go again!
