Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Food was good a little pricey for what it is. Not bad...not great just good. Decent Beer and Spirits list. Overall is was a good place to start off a Valentine's date night

Never have been disappointed at Phoenix City Grille, and we are truly 'regulars'. Outstanding - always.
The food was terrific and the ambiance was wonderful. We had a table in the bar and it was cozy and not at all noisy. We were able to talk at a normal voice level. I would highly recommend the hummus appetizer. The pita bread was warm and the tomato and cucumber salad with basalmic vinegar dressing was delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his ribs and my sea bass was fantastic. We will definitely go to Phoenix City Grill again, and I have already recommended it to several friends.
