This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

I think that Phoenix City Grill served pretty amazing food. I ordered pot roast, and I expected it to be served to be on a plate with minimal/non-existent presentation. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was not only delicious, but visually appealing. My complaint is that no one seemed particularly interested in seating us and we had to approach the bar and say - should we just seat ourselves? The bartender then came around and showed us to a booth. We got a table and the waitress came by to get our orders and disappea... read more
Phoenix City Gille has been our "go-to" restaurant for years; combining really good food with great ambiance and friendly staff. Dining at a high top table in the bar area with J.P., Frankie or one of the other "regular" bar staff members only adds to the overall ambiance and food to present a now predictable and anticipated excellent dining experience.

Outstanding dishes and great service. I have never been disappointed with my experience at Phoenix City Grille.
We were seated in the banquet room. Felt separated from the 'real' restaurant. Service was slow, albeit friendly. Food was good. This was an ok visit - could go back but why when there are so many other places to try.
The food was excellent and the service was attentive. I enjoy my visits to the Phoenix City Grille. It is a great place for a good meal and good ambiance.
Talapia was delicious, atmosphere was nice, very comfortable place. Only drawback, as with most restaurants these days, too much food. Portion size too large. Couldn't finish it all. Would definitely go back, but would split one dinner.
Needed someplace quiet for a last night in town for vacation. PCG was close to our hotel, and had good reviews. We found the staff great, service quick (with a teenager who would rather not be seen with adults, this is important). The wine list was varied and interesting, and the salads were fantastic. The PCG Pasta was particularly nice.
Very busy Friday night. Felt rushed to finish. Food good but not outstanding. Very loud, tables close together
