This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

The food was amazing. The service less so.
The food is delicious, great menu executed perfectly. The wait staff always friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is great.
We have been familiar with Phx City Grill for over 10 years. We recently started going back and its as good as ever.
Phoenix City Grille is just a really nice place to eat. It's not a foodie place and it's no diner. It's just immensely comfortable with nice food. My spouse and I vowed we have to go more often after our recent experience.
This is one of my favorite places in PHX. Love the ambiance; food is terrific. Just a great place for a bit older crowd - but saw some "youngsters" in there too.

Best in Phoenix?? Not for brunch - had crabcakes benedict - they were flat and flavorless with very little crab in the cakes....the famous bloody mary's pretty unremarkable - finally the coffee was weak and watery. Won't go back - to give you a perspective - Mimi's would have been a much better choice

Nice family place. Great variety on menu. Good bar variety. Very friendly staff. Prompt service. Food prepared as expected with no problems or errors. We were family of 5 with one special needs child. Overall great experience.
