This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

Great as always - service, food, selection.
Be sure to request salad dressing on the side for the butter lettuce wedge - a LOT of dressing on this salad. Also, take a flashlight, it is VERY dark in this restaurant. Overall, good menu, easy to please even picky eaters. Good central Phoenix location. Parking a bit tough, allow a few extra minutes.
We've been dining here since it opened and have rarely been less than satisfied. Great ambiance for dinner and drinks.

We have been Dining at Phoenix City Grille for many years and love the atmosphere ! Both the Bar and Dining areas have a very comfortable feel, making it easy to unwind after a busy day or go out for special evening. We almost always enjoy a cold Dry Martini and share an appetizer of Eggplant with Goat Cheese. The Specials alway catch our eye and have never dissapointed us. My Wife loves the Grilled Salmon and I enjoy the Steak Tacos or Half Rack of Ribs ! We are usuall too full for Desert but the Jack Daniels Bread Pudding ... read more
Been here numerous times over the years and it is consistently good. Nice selection to choose from, and always well presented. My lunch companion ordered the salmon which she said was delicious, and would still be talking about it into next week! I opted for the roasted beet salad with grilled chicken. I know....boorring. But the greens were fresh, the chicken grilled to perfection, and best of all, the salad wasn't swimming in dressing. We split a piece of the peach cobbler cheesecake. The hummus with balsamic vinegar dripped over it is "to die for." Since I am a vegetarian, I chose to have the crispy eggplant bites which were fantastic! I also had my usual PCG pasta (without the chicken) and was sad that there wasn't enough left to take home (because I ate it all).
