This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

Very busy Friday night. Felt rushed to finish. Food good but not outstanding. Very loud, tables close together
Phoenix City Gille has been our "go-to" restaurant for years; combining really good food with great ambiance and friendly staff. Dining at a high top table in the bar area with J.P., Frankie or one of the other "regular" bar staff members only adds to the overall ambiance and food to present a now predictable and anticipated excellent dining experience.
Service and food very good. Have been dining here for many years and it remains consistently good.
We went to this establishment while attending a conference at a nearby resort. Our group of eight was treated to a private room, and our waiter was attentive, friendly and knew the menu and wine list well. The food was top notch. Recommend highly.
We have been there several times. This time it took 45 minutes to get an appetizer and almost hour and half to get the food. No bread was brought and the server was hot and cold on her attentiveness. Overall we have had better experiences at other times. Food was pretty good though once it was brought. The "free" appetizer consisting a few pieces of bread and some tiny bits of cheese certainly is not worth the $10 price that is normally charged. If this would have been the first time going, we certainly would not be hurrying... read more
The food, as always, was wonderful. But it was Friday night and even with a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes while there were a couple of tables unoccupied and no explanation why we couldn't sit there. Finally they opened the room next door, which filled very fast so the one server was kept very busy. Dinner came in a notable timely fashion, given how busy they were, and was excellent.
Staff is always fabulous. We continue to bring friends there for their first time. They all love the place.
Nice place to take out-of-town company.
As always it was an outstanding Valentines Day evening. The food was nothing but excelent and great service. The reservations were right on time waiting for our arrival. We rank this our number one Phoenix location...we have never been disapointed....every time it is outstanding.
