I was so disappointed in the unprofessional manner in which I & others were treated! My clinic was closed & this was closer than the emergency room, so I was a walk in. I wasn't feeling well & needed help, but I received nothing but bad attitude from the girl at the front desk, the male nurse & the female blonde doctor! I scheduled a 9:30am appointment. Upon arrival, I was told that they have NO providers on site, but that I would be seen by a "virtual" provider on a computer and that I was next in line. I waited for one hour before I finally left at 10:30am as they were unable to provide any other update besides "you're next". Do not go here unless you want to waste your time. Had an appointment for 12:30, used an hour lunch break but figured it might go past it. I did all of my paperwork and checked in before to "ensure quick service". 6 people ahead of me upon arrival. After 45 minutes of waiting, 2 guests were seen. I understand you might need to wait, but an appointment should still be honored to within half an hour, otherwise don't have an opening! Incompetent doctor who'd rather send someone to the ER than do anything herself. Save your time (3hrs) and just head to another location or better to the ER if it's something for elder people.
I've been here quite a few times because it is closest to my house, the wait is always very long, and the front office staff is rude. I walked in at 7:30 when they close at 8... no one as at the front desk when I came in, then when she came up front she told me they don't take anyone after 7:30.... it was 7:31 because no one was at the desk!
We have visited the Plainfield's location on January 1st 2024. My wife had an acute cough and Influenza (both confirmed by the physician in the office). As a result of the visit, the doctor did not prescribe anything except a number of medicines over the counter. We went to a MinuteClinic at CVS. The nurse found that this cough is significant that can lead to a bronchitis, and she also found ear plugs (the PIC doctor did not even look inside ears). I had my appointment at 3:30 pm 2 more hours passed and they didn't help me... very bad service, the truth is that we seem to be in the emergency room of a hospital
After checking in I was told that there was no physician on site and I would be seen via Telehealth. It took over an hour and a half to be seen and I was the only person in the waiting room when I arrived. A customer checking in asked whether they were affiliated with Duly or Amita Health and the front desk employee didn't even know... Once they finally brought me into a patient room, after asking the general series of questions, they left me alone in there for like 15 minutes. Went in to see if I could get a refill for a prescription from 12 days ago. They said 1 hr wait. I waited 1hr 45 min and then was told it would be another 1 hr and a half. Who has 3 hrs of their day to sit and see if they can just get a refill. Lack of respect for other peoples time. Have some urgency for people who pay your bills.
