I write this review after I have been waiting well over an hour for a pre employment drug test. The people are friendly, but can this two minute process be moved along.

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback, Chris. I am sorry that you were unhappy with your visit, and I apologize for the long wait. Some of our clinics have been experiencing longer than usual wait times due to the flu, and we are trying to make adjustments to account for this. Thank you for letting us know.

I'd give them negative stars if it was possible. The African American receptionist, Felicia, is rude and should NOT be allowed to work in customer service. I have never came across such horrible service in my life. This used to be my favorite location. It is extremely sad to see the quality of service decline significantly.

Business response:

We are very sorry to hear about your experience, Kasia. We take patient quality of care concerns very seriously, and your review has been forwarded to our Quality and Compliance team. If there is anything else you would like to discuss, please feel free to send me an email at patientservices@visitphysicians.com. Thank you for letting us know.

Immediate care? Ha! I came here today with my dad who ended up being seriously ill and they told me that we would have to wait at least 3 hours. Not to mention there were only 2 others in front of us. Front desk staff was not friendly. Would not recommend coming here if you are in need of "immediate" care.

Business response:

I am sorry for the length of your wait, Colleen. We try to bring in extra staff members during peak flu season, but there are times when we still get behind. Often, wait times will fluctuate widely, and we encourage patients to reserve their spot online when at all possible. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your visit.

This is the worst immediate care clinic I've ever been to. I went in because my throat was swollen, I had a fever & felt achey. The nurse that took my vitals (didn't get her name because she never introduced herself) was so rude & unwelcoming I felt like I was bothering her to be there. No hi, how are you? No smile, no feel better. If you hate your job so much then I would suggest getting a new one but to make patients feel so unwelcome when they're already feeling sick isn't right. Anyways she did a strep test on me & then ... read more

Look - if you need immediate care, why go to this place? NMH immediate care is far better and only 3 miles away, on Willow and Patriot in Glenview. Plus, this place forces you to sign something that says in small print that they will auto-charge your credit card the amount insurance won't pay, and they never send a bill! Never! The only notice they send says THIS IS NOT A BILL. These guys are dishonest!!!! NMH is 5 times better!!

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. Patients are asked to provide a credit card at the time of service. This is to cover the amount your insurance determines "patient responsibility" - usually a deductible or a service your plan does not fully cover. 7 days before we charged your card our billing team emails to notify you of the amount. We also offer self-pay pricing for those who do not have insurance, or if you have a high deductible, these prices can be found on our website.

When I went to this Immediate Care the doctor and nurse were friendly and took care of me. The problem I have is they told me they were sending out a urine sample for a UTI problem and they would call me with the results whether there was an additional problem or not. The doctor empathized I would get a call. I never received a call back, and one month later I called the office and told the person answering the call that I had never received my call back to let me know what was found but I did a notice that I had been charg... read more

While the staff were pleasant and effective I did not care for their process. I was there for drug screen and you know what that means, so I came prepared and ready, after drinking a big cup of water earlier. The sequence of how and who they saw made no sense, it was not in order. Not everybody is there for a drug screen, but many are. Why not process drug screen folks separately? It is a fairly quick turn around process so do not understand why you would not express lane it. Why make people wait so that they feel miserabl... read more

Business response:

We apologize for your long wait, Michael. We do have separate queues for provider and non-provider visits. I would like to look into why you experienced a long delay for a non-provider visit. I will private message you for your full name and the date of your visit. Thank you for your comments, as it helps us do better.

I can barely even say i had an experience there. I was in from out of town and needed to see a doctor. This was one of the few places around that takes my insurance. Unfortunately i didn't have a physical copy of my insurance with me but i had a copy on my phone so i thought it would be no problem. It's not like it has a chip in it or something, all they need is the information listed on it. The receptionist at the counter told me he couldn't take my insurance card because he had to scan it through his machine first. He the... read more
