They proved to NOT be thorough in their exam of my dog. I was sent home being told "she had a bellyache and is not in any impending danger" I took her two days later for a 2nd opinion to Dr Eubanks in Jacksonville. He felt a mass and X-rayed Sassy. My Sassy has a 7lb tumor in her gut. The outcome would have been the same and I would've had to say goodbye to her but she suffered for 2 more days due to the lack of care from Pine Street. Below is the tumor Dr Eubanks removed from her that Pine Street didn't feel during her exam... read more

Wondering if staff changed. The last time we took our dog there was new vet we’d never seen and new tech we’d never seen. No explanation of that and they hurt him very badly during exam in another room where they closed the door where I couldn’t see. He cried out loudly in pain but they never explained why. He was in pain day and night for a week. I told them on the phone what happened and that we were very unhappy. After 9 years of using that clinic ( not that vet) I thought they would have given more consideration.

This vet is way too expensive. We got our german shepherd neutered at a different clinic, and he is a BIG dog. The neutering was under $100. We wanted to find another vet, so we took him to pine street. They did every test in the book, and determined he had small worms. The office visit with all the tests was over $300. On top of that, they wanted him to come in every 6 months for the same testing and office visit! The neutering at another vet (including consultations) didn't even cost half that price! I would understand t... read more

Took my dog here for an emergency (instead of his regular vet in Jacksonville). I waited for over an hour and never even saw a vet tech. My dog had a SEIZURE and they still did not see him. I finally just left and took him elsewhere.

Took dog in for review of 2 suspicious bumps/spots in 2 different areas. Vet tried to take samples - 1st spot - plenty of fluid taken for review, 2nd spot - nothing came out. Needless to say - they were concerned about 2nd spot and told me after the fact it would cost $200 to send off for analysis. I wouldn't have had my dog subjected to that if I had known price. There is absolutely NO way they got enough to even review. Vet said they'd look under microscope in office to see if cells appeared abnormal and call me the next d... read more
