Just an update on Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital since I haven't written one in several years... We continue to go to PPAH and they haven't let us down since moving here to AZ 7+ years ago! Dr. Azumi is who we usually see and she is wonderful but Dr. Dawson is awesome too. He did Minnie's teeth cleaning last year. All of the front desk staff and vet techs are super friendly and knowledgeable too. Just as going to the doctor isn't always fun for people, I'm sure Minnie feels the same way about going to the vet, but I kn... read more

I have been taking my 2 chocolate labs here for 6+ years and I always have had a great experience with them. Their entire staff is always friendly and helpful. The return calls/emails promptly and always work with me when I need to get my dogs in for an appt. The Drs. are so warm and caring with my dogs and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. I always recommend PPAH to friends who ask for recommendations. I cannot say enough good things about them! Thank you for always taking great care of my boys, and me!!!!

I unfortunately went here under bad circumstances. My dog was getting old and I had just taken her to another Animal Hospital in the area. They wanted to charge me over $600 in tests before even considering putting her to sleep. I've had my dog for 5 years and knew that she wasn't doing well. The decline in her health happened over the last couple of weeks and I could tell she was suffering. I didn't want to put her through all those tests and agony over weeks, months or years just to keep her around for myself. I decided ... read more

We have been taking our dog, Cholla, to Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital since we "found" her, back in 2005. The tech staff is wonderful - Cholla loves Patrick (Probably mostly for the treats.). I have always found the staff and Doctors (We have seen Dr. Dawson, Dr. Stevenson, and lately Dr. Izumi) to be professional, caring for animals, and provide good answers and treatment explanations to the "parents" of their patients. I also appreciate the fact the Doctors and Staff don't push "extra" services on you (i.e. Teeth Cleani... read more

The ways in which this animal hospital has been there for us for over a decade are infinite. I've repeatedly been in awe at how they have always gone far above and beyond for me and for us in troubling times and it has always brought me great peace to know that when it has been needed, my pets have not only had the best medical care possible, but also the most heartfelt and dedicated. This is truly an amazing team that has the best interest of the pets we love so much at heart, not to mention, those of their human clients. I... read more

I had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience with Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital that I feel others should be warned about. I brought in a newly adopted dog from Mississippi for a full wellness exam, including a fecal test, before sending him to a professional training facility. The clinic told me everything came back clean--no parasites, no issues. Once the dog arrived at the trainer's facility, they discovered the infestation and now have to sanitize their entire facility to prevent contamination and prot... read more

Business response:

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. I’m truly sorry to hear about the challenges you've encountered following your dog’s visit with us. We understand how frustrating and stressful this situation must be, especially given the impact on the training facility and your plans. Please know that we take these matters seriously. In cases involving intestinal parasites, particularly tapeworms, it’s important to note that they can be difficult to detect on routine fecal tests. Tapeworm segments are not always presen... read more

I've been bringing my pets here for the past few years as I think the vet staff are wonderful.. The problem is they're never on time.: 20 minutes past my appointment time and we were finally escorted into an exam room with no apology or explanation.. my dog hates the vet and I try limit my time in the office..

Business response:

Thank you so much for your continued trust and kind words about our team, we truly appreciate your loyalty over the years. We're sorry to hear about the delay during your recent visit an understand how frustrating it can be, especially when your dog is already anxious about being at the vet. We always strive to stay on schedule, but we clearly fell short this time. Your time is valuable, and your pet's comfort is a priority, so please accept our sincere apologies for the experience.

Disgusting treatment from the owners and their workers. They consistently bully other businesses and clients within the plaza. They make up stories to tell to the property manager to try to get other businesses kicked out. They send their employees into other businesses to harass the owners and employees. They have their employees send in fake resumes to businesses. And when asked to speak to the business owners as adults to settle the issues they get ten times worse. I assume property management can't do anything because th... read more

Brought my cat in for a morning visit scheduled the week before. Unfortunately, it was a Monday morning and the staff was in a hurry. Our cat was 18 years old and very active. She had a stroke the night before, but was fully cognizant. Unable to use back legs and blind. Decided to put her to sleep. Doctor was in a hurry, staff kept interrupting our "quite time" with her to pay the bill, choose the cremation package and they "needed the room". No, I did not want their wooden box, just the cremains... paid for (apparently) an... read more
