About this business

PM Pediatric Care came to life in 2005, when Dr. Jeffrey Schor and Steven Katz — college roommates who went on to pursue careers in medicine and business — wanted to create an alternative to the emergency department and a friendly environment designed exclusively for children and young adults. Since then, PM Pediatric Care has expanded across the country with the mission to improve healthcare access, quality, and service. The wait was over an hour and the facility seemed very understaffed. The doctor was extremely pleasant and helpful. The nurse not so much.

Very rushed, did not feel the provider took time to understand or hear my concerns. Spent less than 2 minutes with us.

Took my daughter in for a persistent dry, barky cough. Only vital signs were done. We were asked by an assistant if she was swabbed by nose or throat. When we answered no, she still wasn't swabbed. Was prescribed allergy medication, and told her she was fine and we were sent on our way. The trip was a waste of time.

The wait time was very long and I had scheduled ahead but came In early didn’t know walk ins were as valued so next time I will just walk in. Also reviewed the urine results in the portal and it clearly states what is normal and what is out of range. When the nurse practitioner finally came in she asked me why I felt like my daughter had a UTI I explained her symptoms and discussed the out of range result of her ph and traces of leukocytes. She said “well her ph is only an 8” I said “correct which is higher then normal” she ... read more

I brought my 10 month old in due to fever, congestion, throwing up, mucus, and him being lethargic. I also stated members in our home tested positive for Covid. He was examined (listened to his chest.) I was told his lungs were clear and it was jus a virus. Two days later I took him to the ER due to his symptoms becoming worse. He tested positive for Covid 19. I do not feel this urgent care did anything to help us. I feel test should have been taken at the visit. I was very upset with the service we received.

The NP did not even take a history. I just she just went off what the medical aid told her. She said my son had ear infection and would give 5 days of antibiotics and asked for his age. 5 days sounded short to me and dose should be weight based. Luckily when we got the order it was for 10 days, but no relief after 3 doses. He’s still very sick, possibly the flu. I sent him out to get a flu test. I wish they had tested there.
