Don't waste your money Terrible terrible terrible. Wasted money. Goes in circles and coils up into itself.
Not recommended for inground pools I loved our Polaris Sweep for our above ground pool that caught many leaves in Michigan. The pool was a large oval with one return, so I wanted more circulation. This Vac worked perfectly for that situation, 5 stars. Moved to Florida and have an inground pool, so purchased the Polaris Sweep for inground pools. Results are ok at best. Two Stars Nice for first a couple weeks, then it stops work properly.
One Star It did not vacuum at all.
This is not the product you want Do not waste your money. I have had a pool for 20 years, always with automatic pool cleaners. This is by far the worst one I have ever owned. It is constantly backing into its wall plug and getting the hose tangled and then tipping over and shooting the water out of the pool. Came home from work yesterday and it had lowered the water level in my pool by about 2 feet.
Low Quality, Did Not Work. I spent the better part of a day trying to get this to work. The hoses are low quality. The filter bag looks like it would last a week at most. Even after contacting the manufacturers help line I could not get this to work properly. Very cheap plastic parts and I can't see even if I got it to work, how it would last. More like a $99 item. I attempted to use once and returned for refund. Save your money and purchase a better unit.
Not made as described in item description Item not made for in ground pools. Box got wet due to rain and I still have this expensive unused item in my garage unable to use it or return it
Polarcrap. Pros: - Worked fairly effectively for two months. - Attractive looking. Cons: - Stopped working after two months. It is suppose to change directions but it just gets stuck in one spot and does not back up. The manual says to take it apart and remove any debris that might be clogging it so I opened it up but nothing was clogging it, just stopped working. -Plastic is cheap and a piece broke off. -Hose rubbed itself raw and eventually sprung a leak. -Minor damage to my pool.
