We have only had the cleaner for a few weeks. This our 1st cleaner did we cannot compare to others. It is very easy to use and maintain. Saves us a lot of time and effort in keeping the pool clean

i was very apprehensive about this Robot cleaning my pool as well as the company that had done it in the past. But it was just as good -and the best part is - i can clean it multiple times a week with zero problems. my pool has never been so clean!

This is our 3rd pool cleaner and I think this one is by far my favorite. It is easy to use, easy to clean the basket and works great. I highly recommend this system to anyone looking for a helping hand in keeping their pool clean.

Cleans most of the pool well - but due to it's various and random movements, it does not always completely remove the debris from the bottom of the pool as would be done by hand vacuuming. It would be nice if it went in a pattern that could be pre-determined so that it would not miss areas. I'm not talking about small areas that are missed, but large areas (like the entire far side of the pool). However, the parts that are vacuumed are cleaned nicely.

A suggestion that will improve pool coverage is to ensure the cleaner cable is entering the pool at the center of the length of the pool and that only the required amount of cable is allowed into the pool. Essentially, you should only allow enough cable into the pool to cover the furthest point from the cable entry location in the pool. We love our Polaris. The only issue that we have is that it gets stuck on the bottom drain sometimes. Even when we have the drain turned off.

The Polaris 8050 is everything they said it was! It was a “hefty” price tag in comparison to some others, but I have told my husband more than once that I am NOT sorry we bought the Polaris 8050 because our pool is crystal clear! We have many trees on our property & there is always dirt in the pool despite the pool cage. It takes one hour or less for Polaris to do its job and our pool is sparking clean! And so easy to use!
