Best thing to clean! We had a Dolphin vacuum that lasted 5 years. After two years of research and waiting we bought this one. Used it after having the pool opened and used the multi purpose filter about three times to get leaves and pine needles. Switched to the ultra fine filter and it is unreal what it picks up. It does “get full” quickly because the fine particles clog it up, but it’s worth it. Even gets the green pollen goop that covers everything this time of year. It cleans great and easy to clean, however I haven’t learned how to do everything yet It cleans great and easy to clean. It doesn’t do the stairs very well.
Did not get stuck on the raised drains in my pool! I had a Dolphin Oasis Z5i, it got stuck on my drains all the time and failed after a few seasons. This one works fine, does not get stuck on the drains, comes with a much better instruction manual and a caddy. It is also much easier to clean the (bigger) filter too.
Super Cleaner Pictures show the box it comes in and the unboxing. Easy to put together, was ready within 15 minutes. You do not need to be a rocket scientist, the Quick Guide tells you exactly what to do and if all else fails, do a search on "Polaris 9550 set up" and there and several videos on YouTube. Don't buy with remote control model Remote control didn't work, customer service very fast send me new remote control, didn't work they send me second one again didn't work. 3rd time they told me to take it to Authorized Warranty Service I called three of them one didn't have knowledge of remote tow told me they are too busy call in one month, and told me to return the unit so with lots of difficulties I disassembled it and good for Amazon no charge took it to UPS store I'm waiting to get refund after they receive it. Best purchase We are very happy with our robot. It does not get caught up on the drain, it is easy to operate and easy to retrieve from the pool. Would definitely recommend for leaf removal also. That is why we originally purchased it.
