Limited lifespan Works great until it doesn't. It does a good job of cleaning the pool, but I had it repaired under warranty after 2 years and now 2 years later it crapped out again. Looks like it only has about a 2y lifespan.
Motor Failure after 3 Seasons!! Horrible I bought this unit brand new and after 3 seasons it's not working... Error code 03, which means a motor failure!! This is ludicrous for a high end product when there are knockoffs at 25% of the price that last longer than this!!
If the remote worked I would not return it I can’t get the remote to work. There are areas of my pool that it never gets to, very frustration. The remote would come in handy for that. I’m going to return it if I can’t get it working this weekend.
DEAD! Two months out of warranty. This is the second Polaris 9550 Sport that I have purchased. I bought this one in 2024. Now it's 2026 and it won't power on. I won't make the mistake of buying one again. It is 2 months out of warranty.
Does not work- do Not Buy It does not work received around 4/27 and from day and first time use did NOT work. It keep flipping over, circulation same spot and does not clean or pick up anything and also doesn’t go to walls or steps it just flips over and basically stays at same spot for entire time. Doesn’t last Gray while it lasted. Died after 3 summers of use. Leslie’s store fair the motor burnt out. $750 repair
one huge flaw I really do like this cleaner, and it actually cleans the pool pretty well, but it has one huge flaw. It constantly runs up my stairs and just sits there spinning. I honestly thought it was supposed to be smart enough to eventually learn the layout and avoid getting stuck in the same spot over and over. Other than that, it does a solid job of cleaning.
good, but not great! Product work fine when not in the shop! I live in So Cal desert and the gears on the wheels tend to get worn and strip out about every 6 months or less. I've purchased 2 of these because they clean the fine dust well, but will not purchase a 3rd unit when this one fails completely. I'll be going to a "Track Type cleaner next purchase.
Do not buy Do not buy!!!!! This is my second one in 3 years. First one got E3 code after 15 months of purchase luckily I had the insurance on it. They were able to give me a new one, but it did wine cost me $300 in tax and fees now the second one broke again right at the 15 months mark with an E3 code called Polaris customer support they said to bring it to Leslie‘s pool for diagnostic turns out the motor is blown and it will cost $1000 for a new motor which is the same price for a new one Polaris does not warranty the motor... read more
