Polaris EPIC 8640 robotic cleaner
It does a great job cleaning and I am enjoying more relaxation time rather than vacuuming the pool. So funny when it is cleaning the pool while I have guests over they become mesmerized watching it does its job!!
I like the cleaner, does a good job. But it doesnt take the fine sand/dirt in my pool. The sand just gets out of the cleaner and always stays in the bottom and goes all over the floor , I put it in working 3 days in a row and always leaves a mess really not happy with that part for the price it could include a ultra fine filter , Tried to contact Polaris team to get the fine filter for polaris epic 8640 , I'm waiting they said can't sell it no idea what to do ?
The EPIC 8640 does a good job of getting the heavier debris from the bottom of the pool. The grass clippings and leaves. The unit needs a smaller mesh screen to filter the fine dust we get. If you offer a smaller mess screen, your web site is not user friendly.
Much better than I expected. Lil pricey but worth every penny.
The Polaris has been very good. Easy to use, and it definitely picks up small particle in the pool. I don’t believe the Polaris is “mapping my pool”. It doesn’t rise to the surface and wait for me to retrieve it when it finishes a cycle, it just sits on the bottom wherever it stopped until I hit the lift button. But over all I’m happy with the purchase so far.

Love my new Polaris. It climbs the walls all the way up to the rim and gets in the corners. The lift is great in that you can direct it to where you want it to leave the pool. I really like the cord with the swivel feature. No more trying to untangle 60 feet of cord. I love all the new features. Thank you Diana
Still early in our experience but at this time pleased with its performance, operation and effectiveness. By summers end I hope to have the same perspective
