I purchased this robotic cleaner on the recommendation of my local pool service company, after discovering how antiquated the previous home owner's pump style cleaner was. Rather than repairing old equipment, we decided to spring for this robotic cleaner. For the most part, I think it is a great investment. I do wish it had a few more features for the $1,000 I paid for it. It’s certainly not worth the large price tag. It does ok but doesn’t thoroughly clean the the bottom and doesn’t go far enough on sides to effectively clean them either. It repeats In the same area over abs over and misses a lot of places where it never goes. I expected it to do better than one costing half the price. In fact my battery operated one does a better job of fine debris pick up
