Polaris G52 Back-up Valve Assembly. This is a factory original Polaris replacement back up valve. It has a timer mechanism inside that diverts water out of a jet every 5-10 minutes. This jet acts as a back up, pulling the cleaner out from the pool floor or wall. There is an arrow on one side of the hose barb that should face towards the cleaner. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Worked perfect
Looks good but does not work properly. Looked just like the original. However doesn’t work properly. Leaks out the backup port and does not have any strength to pull vac backwards. Something wrong inside. I requested return and or replacement. Will see how it’s handled. Will update as to customer service.

Perfect replacement vavle OEM replacement part. This kit contains the entire valve assembly. The outer shell as well as the internal gears/parts. Takes a few minutes to install but this kit has everything you need. Disconnect the old valve from your hose and install this one. That is it.
