As of 2023 the genuine part was made in Mexico not in China. See images in this review.Some people may get a genuine Polaris part, others, like me, will not, and I tried twice.The genuine Polaris part is terrific, 5 Stars.

garbage. stopped working in less than 1 year Thought I was doing the right thing but buying genuine replacement polaris parts. this thing is junk. lasted less than 1 year and stopped working.

idiot proof installation idiot proof installation it goes on one direction and you tighten it down using the hose clamp/nuts. thats it. kind of pricey considering what typically breaks on it which is the outer housing. unfortunately you cant just replace the outer housing (even if the inner mechanism is perfect so you get the honor of paying for replacing working components as well as broken components. but hey you dont really get a choice in the matter.

Lasted one season The original valve lasted many years before finally failing. I tried a couple of the cheap replacements that failed within a year so I decided to go back to the brand product and pay a lot more hoping it would last like the original product.No such luck. This product also failed in less than a season. The valve is stuck open like the other failures.I've decided to go with Airlie valves which are made in the US and have a lifetime warranty. They are also a lot less expensive than Zodiac valves. Only time wil... read more
