Did not include the mechanism I ordered this back up valve because it advertised being the whole unit. I should have read more reviews. It does come in the polaris packaging but it only includes the cover and the collar. It DOES NOT include the mechanism inside.

It just a case kit nothing inside, no mechanism inside I though this is functional product. Website said this kit include: G53 Mechanism, G54 Case kit, G57 Collar The package came with just a case kit & collar, no mechanism inside.The amazon service rep ordered a replacement kit which I received today. It is same empty case kit with nothing inside.

Missing internal mechanism Device is worthless without internal mechanism. Came in Polaris bag, looks ok until you open the body and there nothing inside.

How to tell if you are getting a GENUINE Polaris G52 Back Up Valve A genuine Polaris back up valve comes in a bag clearly marked as Polaris along with factory instructions for installation. As of 2023 the genuine part was made in Mexico not in China. See images in this review.Some people may get a genuine Polaris part, others, like me, will not, and I tried twice.The genuine Polaris part is terrific, 5 Stars.
