Bought my house about 18 months ago and it came with the Polaris Quattro. Last summer it worked well, but this year the Quattro hasn’t been climbing the pool walls. I have cleaned out the filters, and there are no leaks. Wondering what I need to do to get the Quattro to climb the walls

Business response:

Hi Timothy, We are sorry to hear your Quattro isn’t climbing your pool walls and have a few suggestions for you. Please refer to the product manual for specific section details - https://www.polarispool.com/-/media/zodiac/global/downloads/h/h0645700.pdf 1) Check the wheel RPM. The target wheel speed is 28-32 RPM. If wheel speed is not in the target range, refer to Section 7 Adjust Wheel Speed. 2) Ensure the hose is floating and the hose floats are positioned properly. Position the first float up against the feed hose conn... read more

Just bought the Quattro pressure cleaner. Seems to be struggling to pick up the finer sand particles. I’ve seen this posted as a problem in other reviews but thought it was fixed. My old three-wheeled Polaris picked up ALL of the sand...I just hated the bags so i thought I’d try this one. Disappointed and may return. Any suggestions?

Business response:

Hi Lefty, It sounds like you could benefit from a fine filter canister for your Quattro. Please email us at customerfeedback@fluidra.com so we can continue to help you. Thank you, Your Polaris Team

Just bought the Polaris Quattro p40 and seems to be working great. Can you leave it in the pool after cleaning or take it out?

Business response:

Hi John, Thank you for leaving a review! We recommended taking the cleaner out after each use, but it is not a requirement. Pool chemicals can affect the color and longevity of your Quattro Sport, so we recommend removing them after the cleaning cycle. Enjoy your swim time! Your Polaris Team

It WAS the best pool cleaner I have ever owned for over a year. Then, all of a sudden, it gets stuck on the pool drain. After about a half hour it may clear itself but it is spending most of its time on the drain. This just started. I replaced the tires but that didn't help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Business response:

Hi Christine, We’re sorry to hear your Quattro Sport is getting stuck on your drain. If your cleaner is sticking on the drain or similar items, your main drain may be compatible with the Unibridge cover we manufacture. For more information about the Unibridge, visit - https://www.polarispool.com/en/products/accessories/unibridge. We would be happy to send you a Unibridge cover if you think it would help with your drain issue. Please email us at customerfeedback@fluidra.com and let us know if you’d like us to place an or... read more

Love the action of the cleaner but the debris escapes the canister and the silt and fine debris blows right back in the pool. As soon as the pump is off the dirt settles right back to the bottom of the floor. $1300 dirt sweeper :-(

Business response:

Hi Keith, Thank you for choosing Polaris! Product quality and customer satisfaction are top priorities to us. We've made a recent update to the housing of the Polaris Quattro Sport. It's possible that your cleaner may have the older style body and housing. You can take your cleaner to your local authorized dealer to have those parts changed out. If your cleaner is still under warranty, this would be at no cost to you. This should solve the escaping debris issue. If we can be of further assistance, please give us a call at... read more

I purchased a Polaris Quatro last summer. I love how well it cleans our pool but, debris escapes from the seals. Is there a gasket or something available to fix this issue?

Business response:

Hi Patti, We are so glad to hear you are pleased with how well the Polaris Quattro is cleaning your pool! We are sorry you are experiencing some debris escaping from the seals. Would you please send your address and serial number to customerfeedback@fluidra.com so we can check to see if you are under warranty? We made a recent product enhancement and would recommend you replace the canister. Thank you for being a Polaris customer! Your Polaris Team

Just purchased the P40 from local pool store, as my 14 yr old 280 was not doing so well anymore. It makes a nice wide clean path, and covers pool (18k gal.) quickly, but I have noticed same issue others are having with the debris not staying in the baskets. there is a gap between the body and the baskets. I have tried everything the ensure proper closer but it still bypasses the baskets and gets trapped in the body of the cleaner and also puts it back in the pool.

Business response:

Hi Chris, Thank you so much for your feedback. Product quality and customer satisfaction are top priorities to us. Your unit may have the old-style body and housing. We have updated it to help with the issue you describe. You can take your cleaner to your local authorized dealer to have those parts changed out. If your cleaner is still under warranty, this would be at no cost to you. Please let us know if we can assist further. All the best, Your Polaris Team
