It WAS the best pool cleaner I have ever owned for over a year. Then, all of a sudden, it gets stuck on the pool drain. After about a half hour it may clear itself but it is spending most of its time on the drain. This just started. I replaced the tires but that didn't help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Business response:

Hi Christine, We’re sorry to hear your Quattro Sport is getting stuck on your drain. If your cleaner is sticking on the drain or similar items, your main drain may be compatible with the Unibridge cover we manufacture. For more information about the Unibridge, visit - https://www.polarispool.com/en/products/accessories/unibridge. We would be happy to send you a Unibridge cover if you think it would help with your drain issue. Please email us at customerfeedback@fluidra.com and let us know if you’d like us to place an or... read more

Love the action of the cleaner but the debris escapes the canister and the silt and fine debris blows right back in the pool. As soon as the pump is off the dirt settles right back to the bottom of the floor. $1300 dirt sweeper :-(

Business response:

Hi Keith, Thank you for choosing Polaris! Product quality and customer satisfaction are top priorities to us. We've made a recent update to the housing of the Polaris Quattro Sport. It's possible that your cleaner may have the older style body and housing. You can take your cleaner to your local authorized dealer to have those parts changed out. If your cleaner is still under warranty, this would be at no cost to you. This should solve the escaping debris issue. If we can be of further assistance, please give us a call at... read more

I purchased a Polaris Quatro last summer. I love how well it cleans our pool but, debris escapes from the seals. Is there a gasket or something available to fix this issue?

Business response:

Hi Patti, We are so glad to hear you are pleased with how well the Polaris Quattro is cleaning your pool! We are sorry you are experiencing some debris escaping from the seals. Would you please send your address and serial number to customerfeedback@fluidra.com so we can check to see if you are under warranty? We made a recent product enhancement and would recommend you replace the canister. Thank you for being a Polaris customer! Your Polaris Team

Just purchased the P40 from local pool store, as my 14 yr old 280 was not doing so well anymore. It makes a nice wide clean path, and covers pool (18k gal.) quickly, but I have noticed same issue others are having with the debris not staying in the baskets. there is a gap between the body and the baskets. I have tried everything the ensure proper closer but it still bypasses the baskets and gets trapped in the body of the cleaner and also puts it back in the pool.

Business response:

Hi Chris, Thank you so much for your feedback. Product quality and customer satisfaction are top priorities to us. Your unit may have the old-style body and housing. We have updated it to help with the issue you describe. You can take your cleaner to your local authorized dealer to have those parts changed out. If your cleaner is still under warranty, this would be at no cost to you. Please let us know if we can assist further. All the best, Your Polaris Team

Bought the unit last summer as my old 380 finally after 4 years of use died. Does good sweeping the pool and picking up larger items. It does not pick up the smaller dirt and sand like my 380 did. Have to take the clear plastic housing off every couple of days to clean out around it. If this is always happening I feel that it will wear out before I feel I could get my money's worth with its higher price tag.

Business response:

Thanks for choosing the Polaris Quattro Sport Pool Cleaner, Scott! Your trust and satisfaction are our top priorities. Your cleaner came with an All-Purpose Filter Canister, but it sounds like the fine debris in your pool might be better contained by using the Fine Filter Canister, part number R083600. You can find it where ever you purchase authorized Polaris parts, or by searching our Dealer Locator: www.fluidrausa.com/en/dealer-locator. Your unit may have the old-style body and housing. We have updated it to help with t... read more

We have been happy with this cleaner picking up leaves but it is leaving debris on the pool floor. We did a vacuum clean this morning and the pool was spotless. This was all undone when the Polaris came on and debris was all over the floor again.

Business response:

Hi Amy, We're sorry you're experiencing issues with your Polaris Quattro Sport Pool Cleaner. Product quality and customer satisfaction are top priorities to us. It sounds like your filter basket is spilling out into the pool. Please be sure to empty the filter after running the cleaner. If the issue persists, we would like to check that the housing is latching firmly after emptying. Please give us a call at (800) 822-7933 if this is the case, so we can help. All the best, Your Polaris Team

My Quattro Sport which I just purchased gets hung up on the pop-ups on the bottom of the pool. When this happens, it doesn't do a thing. It stalls out on the pop-ups. What's the fix for this. John

Business response:

Hi John, Thanks for your review! We're sorry you're experiencing issues with your Polaris Quattro Sport Pool Cleaner. Product quality and customer satisfaction are top priorities to us. We will have a technical support representative reach out to you when our office reopens after the new year holiday. Thank you for your patience. Regards, Your Polaris Team

Awesome Customer service! My previous 2 star review is officially invalid. Tech support recognized my problem as a defect and replaced the entire unit for free! I am now finishing the process of switching all my Hayward equipment to Jandy. Just bought a CV-580 filter.

Business response:

Hi Anthony, We are so happy we could help! Enjoy your clean pool, and please let us know if we can help with anything else. Happy swimming! Your Polaris Team

I agree that the Quattro is a great cleaner but it is true that the small debris get stuck - and I think get out, too - from in between the blue cover and the transparent part. Is there any way to prevent that? Is Polaris trying to review the design and better it?

Business response:

Thanks for choosing the Polaris Quattro Sport Pool Cleaner, Anna! Your trust and satisfaction are our top priorities. A product specialist will contact you to see how we can assist. All the best, Your Polaris Team
