Bought my house about 18 months ago and it came with the Polaris Quattro. Last summer it worked well, but this year the Quattro hasn’t been climbing the pool walls. I have cleaned out the filters, and there are no leaks. Wondering what I need to do to get the Quattro to climb the walls
Just bought the Quattro pressure cleaner. Seems to be struggling to pick up the finer sand particles. I’ve seen this posted as a problem in other reviews but thought it was fixed. My old three-wheeled Polaris picked up ALL of the sand...I just hated the bags so i thought I’d try this one. Disappointed and may return. Any suggestions?
How do I know if the polaris has the older version of seals and filter?
Just bought the Polaris Quattro p40 and seems to be working great. Can you leave it in the pool after cleaning or take it out?
It WAS the best pool cleaner I have ever owned for over a year. Then, all of a sudden, it gets stuck on the pool drain. After about a half hour it may clear itself but it is spending most of its time on the drain. This just started. I replaced the tires but that didn't help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Love the action of the cleaner but the debris escapes the canister and the silt and fine debris blows right back in the pool. As soon as the pump is off the dirt settles right back to the bottom of the floor. $1300 dirt sweeper :-(
I purchased a Polaris Quatro last summer. I love how well it cleans our pool but, debris escapes from the seals. Is there a gasket or something available to fix this issue?
Just purchased the P40 from local pool store, as my 14 yr old 280 was not doing so well anymore. It makes a nice wide clean path, and covers pool (18k gal.) quickly, but I have noticed same issue others are having with the debris not staying in the baskets. there is a gap between the body and the baskets. I have tried everything the ensure proper closer but it still bypasses the baskets and gets trapped in the body of the cleaner and also puts it back in the pool.
Bought the unit last summer as my old 380 finally after 4 years of use died. Does good sweeping the pool and picking up larger items. It does not pick up the smaller dirt and sand like my 380 did. Have to take the clear plastic housing off every couple of days to clean out around it. If this is always happening I feel that it will wear out before I feel I could get my money's worth with its higher price tag.
