I just purchased the Quattro P40 from Leslie's Pool Service two days ago. The Quattro runs great but I noticed dirt and particles still in the pool after it ran. After looking closer, I noticed that the top and bottom part of the Filter Canister don't seal together letting dirt and particles go right back into the pool. What is the point of a fine debris canister if the seal has gaps in it that let particles go right back into the pool?
Last year I purchased my quattro the first week it was out and it did a phenomenal job of cleaning my pool. It climbed the walls to the water's rim and even went up the stairs. It didn't miss a beat. This year, (and the unit was stored in a closet inside the house so it never got cold), it goes round and round in circles and barely climbs up the incline from the deep end. So far only had it a few days but it's doing a pretty good job. Anybody got any tips to get it to get all of my steps?
The Polaris model we have does a great job. We were having issues with the wheels coming or breaking off. Mario’s Pool where we purchased was very helpful and cooperative to contact the manufacturer company. Polaris did not hesitate to resolve the problem. The representative Ryan and another gentleman came out to access the pool made some adjustments and now we are happy campers again. Thanks Polaris!!
Best pool vacuum ever! I am mad we didn’t learn about it and purchase it sooner.
Latch on the cover is worn easily and doesn’t take normal wear and tear. My unit is less than a year old and 80% of the time when I get home the basket is somewhere in the pool to be fished out. Took it to Leslie’s to be covered under warranty and was told it wasn’t covered. Not super thrilled with the unit thus far. One last comment, the unit doesn’t do well with leaves. It picks them up easily, but the leaves bind the front wheels. FWIW
The Polaris Quattro Sport has been wonderful! Works so much better than the older, regular model it replaced.
I have had a bunch of pool vacs over the years - this one is vastly superior. Our pool is surrounded by trees, so constantly in need of clean up - particularly in Spring and Fall. This thing will suck up whole acorns! Great build quality. Highly recommend.
