Tail Sweep Pro Attached with a simple snap to the tail sweep of an older model Polaris 280 and have not noticed any water spots on windows that face the pool since. Our windows used to require weekly cleaning to remove water spots from the Polaris tail spraying them several times a day...now, they stay clean.If there is a clogging issue, I have not experienced it; however, my pool gets very little debris in the bottom so not a reliable test of this potential issue.
Does what it claims - and what we want We've had the device for a couple of weeks now and it is working fine. This is spring time and there are nearby trees that shed a lot of small seeds. This year is especially bountiful. The Polaris is no longer spraying water out of the pool and the tail seems to be working fine. Why is this not included with the polaris unit? This is great. No more being shot in the back with cold pool water and my windows are not being sprayed. My windows have permanent etching from calcium deposits that I cant scrub off. This will keep it from getting worse. We moved here recently. I wish the previous homeowners had taken the time to prevent spraying. THis is a great little piece of plastic that is way overpriced.
Finally - no spraying my glass doors! This product does exactly as it describes. Once I added it to the tail of my pool cleaner, the amount of water squirted out of the pool decreased. The cleaner (we call him "Rex") no longer sprays our multiple glass doors between the house and pool.One note: be sure to keep the end clean of debris. Works as Advertised - Use Agitation to Clean This product is very well designed by Polaris, but does suffers from debris collection. To be fair, ALL products using the Venturi Principle are prone to debris collection. The solution -- simply hold the Polaris Tail Sweep Pro at the surface of the pool water and shake back and forth a few times. Stops the Polaris from Spraying My Windows I've been looking for something like this for a while now - to keep the Polaris' tail down and not let it spray my windows and everything else when the Polaris makes the turn. Flimsy Poor quality , didn’t work out well. I sent it back.
Not practical as splashes everywhere. Be smart and don’t buy. If u want to be splattered, then get this frother. Strongly dislike.
Too powerful I typically use this for my coffee or to mix in my protein. It was too fast and powerful for what I needed it for as it would spill out of the cup when I used it. I ended up returning it.
