No more water stained windows We should have done this sooner. Less spray, no more washing down the hard spots on the window near the pool. You do need to clean it if it gets clogged from extra debris in the pool, but certainly worth the money.
A MUST HAVE My Polaris was spraying water CONSTANTLY on my patio windows!! Also all over the yard & on us while swimming. As a result my water bill went up $20. So glad I heard about this little GEM. It works beautifully!! No more cleaning the screens in my windows or water loss. Pool companies wanted $75 for one plus labor. Lol
It solves the problem Product is attached to the tail of a Polaris pool sweep to prevent the tail from shooting water everywhere.It solved the problem. Since it was just installed I have no idea how long it will last
Actually works I put this on my old Polaris and it actually works! I wish I had purchased one of these years ago. These need to just be the default tail end for all models.Update: Removed a star. The side openings clog up frequently and the tail stops sweeping. Then one has to remove the tail sweep and unclog the side openings. Not the best design in that regard. Overall I still like it, but it is not perfect.
Buy it NOW and be happy! Worked perfectly as described! We have the Polaris 280 that was spraying the windows and all around the pool area. Even over the fence! Have not seen one drop outside the pool since installing. Well worth the price since we have a salt water pool.
Stops the shooting water This tailsweep adds just enough weight and diffuses the water flow so the tail doesn’t shoot water out of the pool anymore. The scrubber sponge on the end detaches and can be replaced. The sponge appears to have typical life. The weighted piece seem to be solid and have a secure fit. The blue part does collect some leaves, etc, and needs to be rinsed once in a while. It releases and reattaches easily.
Good tail sweep, just overpriced An exact replacement of what came with my cleaner. The original tail sweep was not staying on the tail. Happy with the product, just seems expensive for what it is.
In general it works fine - definitely weighs the tail down more than I thought Works pretty well. I would say it works TOO well. I’ve noticed the tail doesn’t fly out of the water but it also keeps it much lower on the wall. As a result it won’t clean the sides as effectively and I have had to brush things down occasionallyWould I buy it again? Yes. But I wish it let the tail move a little more.
2% of the time it still sprays things Thought it was the same model, is a Polaris, but first one stopped all spray above the surface of pool... this one let about 2% rip buy. Sitting by the pool with my laptop, now have to turn cleaner off. Again.
