Not worth it doesn’t move around consistently I wish I never bought this. It has a tendency to coil up by the skimmer rather than move freely throughout the pool. It picks up well if you manually move the turtle to a location in the pool but that defeats the purpose of an automatic cleaner. Wish I would’ve seen the fix for it on YouTube where the fix was throwing it into the garbage pail.
Just no Bought two and both would wrap themselves up in the hose. Pool guy was stumped too.
Arrived broken. This item arrived in a prepped up box and a turtle with a broken mechanism so that it only moved backwards. It appeared to have been used before and broken.
NOT HAPPY WITH THIS TURBO TURTLE! Number one problem: the tiny filter inside the float hose connected to the return clogs up very quickly which means it needs to constantly be cleaned out. Number two problem: The sweep hose catches against the float hose and the turtle stops, it should reverse itself and move away but it doesn't not even after 30 minutes or longer, it's stuck. 1.0 out of 5 stars THIS IS A PIECE OF CRAP. DO NOT BUY!!!!!! The media could not be loaded. IT DOESNT WORK - IT KEEPS FLIPPING AND FILLING UP WITH WATER AND SHOOTING WATER OUTSIDE THE POOL. I CONTACTED TECH SUPPORT FOR POLARIS AND THEY SENT A NEW MECHANISM. IT STILL DOESNT WORK SO I EMAILED THEM AGAIN AND THEY SAID THAT WAS ALL THEY COULD REPLACE. I AM CURRENTLY EMAILING THEM REQUESTING A REFUND OR A DIFFERENT PRODUCT. THIS IS RIDICULOUS TO SPEND THIS KIND OF MONEY AND IT NOT WORK.

1.0 out of 5 stars Polaris I purchased this item and installed. The Polaris unit started loosing the bumper wheels. Reinstall the wheels with the same results. Contacted manufacturer and not heard back. I will not purchase this item again. Beware.

They have typically lasted 5-6 years before you had to start fighting them to keep them from just curling up. This most recent purchase (Turbo Turtle model) is crap right out of the box! Filter freshly backwashed, plenty of pressure from pump and no matter how many times I straighten it out, it keeps curling back up. I had to operate the Turtles and then take them apart to figure out what was wrong. The first one spurted water out from under the decorative ‘turtle shell’.
