It wraps itself up in the hose... a LOT! I love the concept and my parents had one for their inground pool when I was growing up. It works well, except it keeps getting tangled up in its own hose. It will clean for a bit then curl itself into a circle in the hose. I have tried shortening the hose but it still seems to get tangled up. Not very pleased with this. Definitely would seek other options when purchasing again.
Return on defect item This product will not run forward we just opened bout pool Monday and it will not work seller states no return !!!!! How would we know it didn’t work until we opened pool! Do not purchase! Horrible purchase! I ordered this pool cleaner before opening our pool; therefore, it remained in the box for several weeks before I opened it. Upon opening the product, I noted missing parts and the product did not match the description. The company refused to refund my purchase due to my not returning it within their timeline. They actually told me I could send it back (my cost, of course) and they might refund a portion of the product. Really?
Product is Crap This product sucks! I’ve had it a year and all I get is the run around about how to hook it up to a Coleman 22’ pool! It doesn’t come with connections for this pool and I can’t get anyone to tell me what to buy because they are to concerned about asking for order numbers and suck crap!
Cleans half the pool pretty consistently Nice concept, but poor execution. Spends 90% of its time tangled in its own hose on the half of the pool that’s near the hose connection. The picture shows the natural habitat, half the 30’ round pool clean, half the pool dirty, with the hose wrapped in circles around the turtle’s shoddy “random wander” action. (Occasionally when it works the way it should, it does a good job picking the leaves off the bottom and circulating the water.)
polaris pool sweeper This is the 5th of this product i have had> I had absolutely no problems with the first four. This one has not worked properly since day one. I failed to send in the warranty as I had not had problems in the past. This polaris just coils up like a snake and does not unwind. NOT THE ONE You can't hook it to most small pools (23ft) and it won't work and they won't take it back. It's a scam. Buy the Shark. It works.
Not was I was looking for The turtle just dragged a bag behind him to pick up leaves. The bag kept coming off and we had to keep fishing it out of the pool.
