turtle I couldn't get the hoses to stop leaking out water on the outside of the pool trying to connect this without leaking wasn't possible for us so I returned it
Two Stars Worked well for a few weeks, now will only go backwards.
00 at best. The first time they sent me the turtle it kept circling around the same small area. I sent it back believing it was defective. Second one came with no bag, and is doing the same thing the first one did. The only way I can keep it on the far side of the pool is to tether it with rope. Not worth the almost $200.00 I paid. maybe worth $25.00 at best.
Not worth the money I was disappointed at how difficult this product is to setup and adjust to work properly. I have an 18' round pool and the first use it pretty much churned up the debris on the bottom, maybe grabbing some leaves and larger debris. Second day, after everything settled again, i readjusted and found the unit never reached the entire pool. After 5 hours of running, adjusting, readjusting i put the unit away and accepted my loss. Not for Intex pools Very disappointed I spent three days looking fir a fitting to make this attach to my pool. Bottom line they say for all above ground pools. Certainly don't waste your time if you own Index pools.
Not Happy At All The product seemed to work OK at first. We did not use it regularly & stored it in a large plastic tote. It now tends to migrate almost immediately back to the return, which is in the corner of our 15x24' above-ground pool. I removed the cover to see if there was some sort of blockage and to better understand how it works. There are 4 jets, two forward (which drives it backwards) and two in the back. Junk! I've bought 3 of these. And why, I don't know. Each one eventually coils up in the corner, rendering it useless. Today, my last, was thrown over the pool wall and hauled to the trash can. I tried every 'solution' by the manufacturer. More water pressure, less pressure etc. Don't buy this cleaner ... it's a waste of money. It's a novelty piece of junk.
turtle bad this product did not function as I had hoped it would, it was a total disaster. It did not clean my pool from debri. I was very disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone. It could be just an ornament, the top turtle is cute, but misleading as to it's function.
Not the best I have a 27' above ground pool and have used the turtle a few years. It is very hard to get it started. It uses the return while pulling a bag behind it. The advantage to this is no dirt will go through your skimmer into your filter. The disadvantage is that it doesn't create any suction to pick the dirt up. It relies on the turtle pulling the bag. If your pool bottom is perfectly flat with no imperfections it works fine. However our pool bottom is not perfect so it misses most of the dirt. Do not store the hose... read more
