I have had to super glue a plastic piece on the part that holds ... Purchased May 15, 2015. AWFUL!!!!!! Has not even made a full pool season. Hose that goes to the catch net has 3 cracks. I have had to super glue a plastic piece on the part that holds the net. There are 4 jets that maneuver the turtle and after only a month only 3 work so the turtle just goes in circles and curls itself up against the edge of the pool. Do not waste your money. but I would recommend buying a new one at full used item, poorly repaired no doubt. Had to buy a piston repair kit after one week of use. ok now, but I would recommend buying a new one at full price
One Star This item did not clean how I expected it would for the price paid. Very didappointed.
Expensive alternative to stirring up dirt on pool floor The turtle was great at first then it started going around in circles cleaning the same area over and over. The hose is difficult to store. If you wind up the hose the turtle will not work right. It looked like the turtle was stirring up the dirt on the bottom of the pool because the pool floor was dirty again within hours. solution to problem I got this because my mother-in-law had one once before that worked really well. This one on the other hand didn't work. All it wanted to do was wind up into a circle . I called the company and they sent me new insides which I spent an hour and a half replacing. That didn't work either they had no solution for me. I went to the pool place and they told me to turn down the pressure where it goes into the pool wall. That seemed to help a little bit but still continue to go round and round in a circle. Price on Amazon so much better than even online pool stores Arrived okay. One of the small roller pieces was broken off from sweep hose but not an essential part. I also had to open it up to reposition one of the jet tubes that had come out of the hole on the bottom. Works well. Price on Amazon so much better than even online pool stores.
Doesn't Work!! Only goes in one direction! Doesn't even pick up the leaves!!
