Polaris 280 Outstanding replacement for my older Polaris 280 that no longer would move. My old one lasted 9 years and pretty much stayed in the pool connected 24/7. When my old one quit, I saw the repair/overhall kit online for about half the price, but wondered if it would actually fix the problem. Even though these things are pricy, they are well worth the money. I have never had to vacuum my pool the entire time I've owned it. It's quite a time saver.
Polaris Vac-Sweep is great The Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 I bought replaced a model 180 which was 22 years old. The new one has several improvements and came with all the parts needed to hook it up to the old connection (took less than 10 minutes). The operation of the new unit was more efficient than the older one. Hope to have this in operation for 20+ years as well.
I've fired the pool boy! The polaris 280 is a fantastic machine. Easy to use and so efficient. I have not had to vacuum my pool for sand since I got it. It works so well, I've let the pool service go and am doing it myself. It work better than advertised and I highly recommend it. This is by far the best Polaris yet! As for the price I got on AMAZON.COM, well it could not be better. Much less than my local pool store with fast and free shipping.
absolutely love it!!! Rec'd delivery very fast. Installed in less than 10 minutes. It does the job, nothing else to say. Ordered this to replace our Phantom pool cleaner that only lasted 3 years??!! Plaris Vac Sweep 280 We were looking for a cleaner to replace our Hayward Phantom. After reading many reviews on this pool cleaner, we decided to purchase the product. I was very impressed with the Polaris after its first 30 minutes in the pool. Great improvement! We had an older Polaris 160 - which I repeatedly glued together. (It was way past its useful lifetime - we got it when we bought the house 9 years ago. It was old then... It was likely more than 20 years old.) The 280 is much better than the 160 at cleaning our pool. If it holds up like the 160 - this is a great pool sweep.
Excellent pool cleaner We've had a Polaris pool cleaner for years. The old one finally wore out. We replaced it with the 280 and it does an excellent job. It comes with clear, easy to understand instructions and takes less than an hour to set up and install. I highly recommend it.
very satisfied so far this is my first pool cleaner and I am extremely satisfied so far. It scrubs the pool really well, I could see the results in first couple of days and my pool looked lot cleaner than before, even though I have a guy maintaining the pool. It picks up the leaves efficiently, great product !!
