Excellent food and service. My only critique is the broccoli was a bit over cooked for my taste. Otherwise it was a great birthday dinner.

had 6:30 res.. got there early 5 and they tok us right in as our waiter was there working already. food was Awesome, service was excellent, kept us informed as to how quick the meals were coming up and asked if we want to wait until we were done with salads or put it in . we said give us 5 min. then put it in. orders came out shortly after. will go again and again

I was pleasantly surprised! We drove from Rochester there to meet our Syracuse friends. When we walked into the casino it was so loud I thought this was a mistake! The restaurant however was much quieter and the food and service were impeccable. The only complaint I have is the bar prices. $40 for 2 drinks is quiet high. The bar however is very nice!

We took a detour and stayed at del Lago on our way to Rochester and we are so happy we did! I made a reservation on line after reading about the restaurant. We were there Tuesday evening and you were running a Date Night special, shared dinner for two. The best decision we could have made. Delicious dinner and plenty of food. We asked for our dessert to go! The bread to start was so good and the whipped butter and a tomato dipping sauce, tasted very fresh. The Shrimp Cocktail were generous in size and tasty. The meal was super. The food was exceptional and perfectly prepared. The wait person was engaging and quite professional. One negative was the concierge, who was quite unfriendly and not engaging. The only other negative is that it is inside the casino, so you must go in through the casino to reach the restaurant.

Our waiter was wonderful. They knew we were having a business meeting, and they found us a nook to sit in that was quieter. Steaks were perfect, and the lobster bisque was superb.

I ordered the orecchiette crab special with Scallion Cream. There wasn't a scallion to be had. They had shaved asparagus on it. The lemon sauce was very sparse and the dollop of crab meat was minimal at best. My husband and our friend ordered the veal parm which was delish and filled the plate, but for $38 a plate that's all you got......no veggies, no salad. Everything was a la carte. Portico is a nice restaurant in the casino. The service was good, food creative, and the wine selection excellent.
