Have been going to Portico since it opened. Love it.
The food and service are always excellent. There was a slight issue with a wine list selection. I ordered a bottle off the $20 wine list , but the server came back to the table and said that the bottle was also on the regular list at $36 and did I still want it at the higher price! I asked to see the manager. The server returned about 10 minutes later and said I could have the bottle at the lower price. Great service and wonderful dinner. The veal chop was to “die for”.
My wife and I dined here for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted professionally and were immediately wished a Happy Anniversary by the hostess. Seated within 10 minutes (we were 15 minutes early for our reservation). We got a drink at the bar. Bartender was knowledgeable about his scotches and made recommendations for my drink. Pricing at the bar was normal for the establishment and the fact that it was in DeLago Casino. my only disappointment is that my favorite foods were taken off the menu .... however , everything is absolutely delicious ...
Our meal was special. The lamb was prepared to perfection. The baked ziti was very good. Loved the meal and tremendous staff
Overall had a fine dinner with a nice variety of menu items. The service was very good and of note was our dinners were served very hot. The dinners were prepared with a nice presentation that tasted as good as they looked. We did though fine the ambiance lacking as no table linens or table decor that you would expect in a better dining restaurant only stark bare tables.
A beautiful restaurant that takes you away from the noise of the casino. A very chic ambience and very good food.
