The steaks were cooked to perfection. The food was absolutely amazing (even the second day leftovers). The service was genuine and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience for my birthday.
I was not completely happy with the food. We ordered the cauliflower and it was very hard. It was as though it was not cooked at all.
Food was great! Server was equally good. Overpriced for the area and clientele.

We had a delightful meal at Portico. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was courteous and friendly. Our server, Michael, was knowledgeable and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
My wife and I have dined here several times and have always been pleased. The service has always been excellent. We have experienced a number of different meals and have been happy each time. The atmosphere is low key and that is in keeping with our personal taste.
The food and service were very good, but the price was way above average for the area.

Definitely worth the drive! The food and service are exceptional. Some of the bottles on the wine list are a bit ambitious for Waterloo ($2,200/bottle!!!), but there was a special the night we dined with 10 bottles priced under $25 which was a true bargain. The menu is varied and the Kobe meatball appetizer, which we shared was delicious! The only drawback is that because the restaurant is inside the casino you have to be 21 or over to dine there, but for those "of age", it's a real gem!
