The staff is always very accommodating, polite and courteous. We always have a great time at the bar. The food is outstanding. Our only issue, is that we when we go to the table to have dinner it takes forever to get your food. We own a restaurant and we are extremely patient people, as we understand how a restaurant works. When we go out we are in no rush, but it takes an extremely long time at Portico to get your food. But we love del lago and we will be back.
The food was bland overall. Quality was good, but just lacked flavor. I ordered a salad with steak as my dinner and it came out at least 15 minutes before the rest of my party. The manager addressed the issues and apologized. Overall, I'll probably try it again, but probably will stick with a simple steak.
Nice meal. Hubby ate the big steak and I had the filet mignon. Both were good though the truffle butter made everything taste better. The pork belly appetizer was delicious. Our waitress was talkative and very slow. It wasn’t busy at all, but still the service lagged. The atmosphere was nothing special. I’d suggest they add flowers and candles to their tables. Everything is just flat brown. Not what I expected.
This was not our first time at Portico. It is not something we can do often; but, sure do love it when we go. Food and service.............NONE BETTER!!
We went to Portico for our anniversary dinner. The food was amazing. The service left something to be desired. Our reservations were at 6:30 pm and we did not leave the restaurant until 9:00 pm. The waiter rarely came to our table and seemed rushed when he did. There were long gaps between salads, dinner and dessert. The resturant did not seem overly busy so we could not tell if it was a lack of staff of the kitchen being behind. Went for Sunday Brunch. Music was great for atmosphere, service was prompt and very friendly, food was excellent all around. Only minor complaints but would strongly recommend!
The food was great except for they changed their menu my wife was a little disappointed she knew exactly what she wanted and it was no longer available. They did get us a table in the back of the restaurant so it was much quieter than when you walk in. We'll be back.
There isn’t any ambiance. Waitress very good. Way to much noise. Food was drenched in butter. Probably good for an office party.
We enjoyed ourselves and will be coming back. Food was excellent and service was very attentive.
