The service men arrived on time and explained to us exactly what they were going to do. They wasted no time getting started and the job took approximately 3 hours. They were very neat in their clean up and gave us suggestions as to what type of filters to use in some of our vents. They explained that we would notice a difference in the air in about 2 days. I found them through Angieslist. They came through for me. All of the recommendations on the list were very true and they did a great job. I really liked them, they were very professional and punctual. The service technician was great and I would certainly recommend them to others and use them again. I hired Potomac Services for some Air Duct Cleaning.
They arrived on time, very professional and careful, and completed the work within the alloted/estimated time. After my ducts were cleaned, my family felt the IMMEDIATE difference in the coolness of our home, particularly in the upstairs! WOW, what a difference a GOOD cleaning makes! Cleaned the dryer vent and air ducts for a 1964 two-story colonial home (plus basement). Installed 2 access panels, remove, clean and reset 13 supply registers and 2 returns
We had scheduled the job for 8:30 am and he was very punctual (actually, he was a few minutes early). The whole job took about 1 hour and 45 minutes. He cleaned all the ducts and explained what he was doing as he went a lot. Jason was very professional and knowledgeable about his work. Jason came and was ahead of schedule, so he called and asked to come earlier than the appointed time. That was fine. He was efficient and professional. Our air is cleaner and smells fresher. Duct work cleaned after having a cheap company do so several years ago. That left the house smelling musty, so we decided to hire a more professional company! It was worth it!
My appliance repair company recommended another company but after looking at that dryer vent company's reviews on Angie's List, I went with Potomac based on their pricing and high reviews.The project took two visits - our fault, not theirs - because there was so much disgusting, wet lint built up from years of not having proper cleaning of the vent done. I called on 7/2/2009 and they had an appointment the same day, but I could not do that so we scheduled for a week later on 7/8/2009. Bryson was the technician that came out and he was right on time, he was very thorough and inspected the dryer vent run before beginning work. I was especially impressed with the equipment, he measured airflow before and after the cleaning in the dryer vent. Wonderful from start to finish. My dryer vent was not working and I called and got an appointment within the week. My laundry room is on the 2nd floor of our house and the vent to the outside is up near the roof line so the work needed to be done on a ladder. They came during the poring rain and fixed the vent. Great service!
The technician arrived early. Service was provided exactly as discussed when I made the appointment. The technician tested the vent to determine the speed/force of air exiting the the vent and the back of dryer before and after cleaning. In less than an hour he had removed a significant amount of lint and debris from the dryer vent. Cleaned 25 ft dryer vent that had the remnant's of bird's nest inside
