He locked interest rate for homebuyer . Did not notify Realtor or Builder. And asked builder to pay for the additional locked interest rate. Said he had to so the homebuyer would qualify. Then he did not escrow on improved land and the homeowner is going to have a big increase in their house payment in about a year.

Over promised and under performed. I was told, at least, 6 times “just one more thing”. Income was an issue, I understand that but with both of us with credit scores over 800, never missed a mortgage payment in my life and NEVER any interest on any credit cards, what made this so difficult. This was the worst refi or original finance of a property in my life.
