My regular doctor was on Military Reserve Leave so I made a virtual appointment with Prisma’s Urgent Care office at Verdae, after testing positive for COVID. I was able to get the virtual appointment within 30 Minutes. The doctor was friendly. After reviewing my Prisma medical records, to which he had full access, he advised that he didn’t recommend I take PaxLovid, even though I am over 50, because I am not immune-compromised. My mind was put to rest within 30 minutes and I didn’t have to drive anywhere.

Prisma virtual dr visit was a very positive experience. He was very knowledgeable & recommended a prescription for my cough that is extremely helpful. I didn't have to sit in the waiting room or exam room. Much more efficient for someone who has Covid. He could also bring up MyChart to check for any underlying conditions.
