Nice group celebration. Decently prepared food. Some of the pairings left more to be desired. For example, the halibut dish as part of the chef’s tasting menu - we hated the risotto. We also weren’t asked about allergies. A couple of dishes had nuts, which my S.O. couldn’t eat.
Business response:
I apologize that we did not ask about your allergy and will re enforce the importance of asking each guest about allergies. This is very disappointing to hear that we let you down on Friday, this is my fault.
Our group ordered six entrees, two appetizers, two sides, and desserts. The entrees and sides were not good, particularly for a high end restaurant. The meats were dry, the flavors bland, and we left disappointed.
Business response:
Amanda, I am very sorry to hear about your experience this week. We strive to offer only the highest quality in everything that we serve but clearly we did not meet your expectations this week. I would love to have the opportunity to win you over if you would be willing to give us another chance. Please ask for Chris the GM on your next visit so I can pay personal attention to your dining experience.
We really wanted to like this restaurant but they try way too hard to be 'different' and the food suffers. Every single one of the dishes we ordered could've knocked it out of the park if they'd just showed some restraint and paid more attention to the quality of ingredients. The wedge salad was ruined by the addition of sweet beets. The fried green tomatoes were great but the prosciutto on the side was limp, pale and almost slimy. The scallops were superb but served with something they call gnocchi - which was nothing even ... read more

I am very sorry to hear about your dining experience with us on Saturday. Our Chef takes great care in only offering the highest quality of product for our guests each night but clearly we fell short at your table. If there is anything that I can do to give us another chance to win you over please ask for me when making a reservation. Chris, GM
Anniversary meal not recognized in any way Food nowhere near as good as Vida
Business response:
I am sorry to hear that your anniversary was not recognized and noticed there were no notes on any reservation that evening so we clearly did not add them. We strive to keep on top of each and every request and it bothers me deeply that we missed yours. I hope we have the opportunity to meet in the near future, Chris.
They appear to be struggling with wait staff and cooks during the current pandemic. Service was very poor, and the food was marginal. This is MUCH different than previous visits pre COVID.
Overall good food and love the environment, but disappointed with attention to food allergies. Had two people in our group that have gluten allergies and both had a reaction right after the meal. When we ordered we notified the waiter and we should have known it may not be safe, because he was very uncomfortable dealing with the allergies. Really a shame - since they have items marked as gluten free we hoped they would be more careful.
Business response:
Melissa, I am very sorry to hear that we were not as attentive as we needed to be on your last visit. Please let a manager know when you come in and we can personally monitor your experience.
The food was not good. Poor service.
Elevator not working, my husband is handicapped! Pappy served in a filthy glass
Business response:
We cannot apologize enough for the dirty glass that you were served your Pappy in--this is never acceptable and the manager that spoke with you yesterday directly handled the issue with our bar staff afterwards, but again we cannot be more apologetic. The elevator is managed and maintained by the IronWorks Hotel and not Provision, so we were not aware of the issue until you let us know during your visit. If you would like to speak to a manager directly please call us at (317) 843-6105.
Chef tasting menu was disappointing for the price I paid. I had the tasting menu before which blew me away but this time around nothing impressive. Wasted money and time won’t be back
Business response:
Good afternoon! We are sorry that our Chef's Tasting Menu did not meet your expectations we had set for you at our restaurant. If you feel comfortable we would like to hear your feedback on the dining experience so we can shape our future menus. Feel free to reach out at either (317) 843-6105 or provision@crgdining.com
