Noise level too high. Couldn't hear our server describe the menu. Food was good but not as good as it should have been for the price.

Bad acoustics, too loud; couldn’t hear each other!
We were excited to try somewhere new. There is an industrial theme that was executed well, but the design didn't account for acoustics. The noise level makes for an unpleasant experience no matter what occassion you are going out for. You can't hear your company without screaming. The other guests are in such close proximity there is not intimacy or privacy to the dining eperience. The food was just okay and not worthy of the price point. Hard to get a drink while we waited for our table at the bar. Waited 20 mins to get served at the bar. Had a reservation at 8pm but didn’t get seated until after 8:30. Not sure why they take reservations if they can’t honor the time.
Paid $60 for a Wagyu ribeye which was tough and hard to cut
The special was amazing. However the side came across as a chef in some sort of creative competition and it took away from How incredible the main course is. Tonight it was sweet potato that looked like cook carrots, but was still tasty. When my guest asked for a substitute the waitress with too much intensity said “no substitutes”. We were looking forward to our dinner at Provision since it has been hard to get a reservation since it opened. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience at every level. The service was indifferent and rushed. Even on Christmas Eve it felt like they were try to turn tables. The menu is not much more than a steakhouse menu yet it did not excel any the basics.
