We had a good time at Provision and everyone was nice but it was kind of a mess. The hostess gestured toward a 'bar' and said we could have a drink but it turns out we weren't in the bar, we were just at a 'bar' that was in front of the kitchen. Then the host couldn't find us because we weren't in the bar, but we were right next to the host stand and I don't know how she could have walked by us without seeing us. Waiter was nice, but for this type of restaurant he offered no information about the menu, barely even when asked. We all felt menu was boring and overpriced. My $17 glass of Chardonnay (that was a very SMALL pour) was disappointing. We were never asked if we wanted second drinks nor were we checked in for much of anything. Disappointed because we were excited to try.
We are regulars at the Cunningham Restaurants. Love their brands. This was our first time eating here. Great atmosphere. The staff was very nice. The food was good but for the price I’d rather eat at on of their other restaurants. Not anything that really wowed us. The table service was really off. Had to ask for utensils for every course. The restaurant is beautiful, located in a very cool building. The food is fantastic, very creative. Some menu items are questionable: Authentic Wagyu beef is not raised at Tyner Pond, although they may do their best to grow some very nice cows. Not a fan of the Risotto too runny the broth was way rich
It’s way too noisy. There were four of us. If the round table had been smaller, we might have been better able to hear each other talk. As it was, we felt like we had to shout. The food was not good enough to warrant the price. At that price it should knock your socks off. We won’t be back. Nor will our companions. Nor will our friends we ran into who were at a different table.
Good lively atmosphere but too expensive for what you get. e.g. " Shrimp cocktail " had only 3 shrimp and ?3 small crab pieces for $20. Hamburger and taters way too spicy. Asked for a little extra ice cream to be put on one of the already ice cream desserts and got charged $4 for an extra " mini " scope.
Good food. Nice decor. Attentive service INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE. Won't return. Value for $ wildly out of balance.
The food was great, but it was noisy and so dimly lit where we sat one couldn't read the menu. The waitress was attentive, but the bus service broke two bottles near us which scattered glass shards everywhere. It was very pricey (+100/pp) and for that I would have expected a better experience.
