This was my first time here, and since it came highly recommended to me, I was very excited to try it. The space is beautiful and there was definitely an energy about the restaurant. My server was decent. She was very nice, but because of the energy in the room, it was hard to hear / understand each other. Marginal service and food quality for the price ... this is basically an expense account restaurant.
Many of the tables are too large for a casual conversation across the table, especially because of the noise level. They are very large, square tables that makes it very difficult to sit across from someone and carry on a normal conversation because of the very high noise level that is created by the ceiling and acoustics. Indy has a problem with too many restaurants opening and not enough wait staff! I HATE it when a waiter squats down at the table. The server was invisible. We went 15 minutes without seeing her. The bar tenders were rude.
Disappointing. Service was extremely slow. Salads were cleared and asked for water glasses to be refilled and new cocktails. After 20 minutes flagged down to server to be told the “kitchen messed up our order and it would be out in awhile”. Ten minutes later entree was brought out and water glasses filled. Service good. Food good. Definitely over priced. Not sure if I would return.
We were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, so we had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for awhile. They were able to get us seated ahead of our reservation, but we waited over 30 minutes for our food for a less than half filled restaurant. When my pork chop came out, I quickly realized that not only was it undercooked, it wasn’t cooked at all. It was seared and put on my plate with the middle completely raw.
