This product is a pain It keeps saying the batteries are low, when they are new. I have to take batteries out each time. The cent symbol is not easy to find have to jump through hoops each time I want to use. The main complaint is the batteries. Would like to return, but it looks like it might be too late. Would not recommend. So sad loved my first one worked like a champ.
Mine came with a defect The worst print quality ever! Mine arrived with a special defect that misaligns the clear plastic part of the label from the rest. So, there’s always an edge on my labels that are sticky and unprotected. I’ve tried 2 different brands of tape and I still get the same results. Waste of money.
So many options for everything I love this. I just don't understand why there is such a long tab before and after the print. It's such a waste of tape. Other than that it's great.
Not at all user friendly! I bought this label maker and assorted cartridges in March of this year. I've been trying to use it on and off since then. The screen is impossible to see, changing the contrast does nothing. Setting up different fonts and label sizes is the least user friendly of anything I've used before. I will never order another Brother label maker. Even with the manual we printed out, it was impossible to get a satisfactory label. I'm tossing this out and ordering another make. Stopped after working 6 months I purchased this product and in less than 6 months it has stopped working. I would not recommend or buy again
Brother has lost my business That it doesn't come with an adapter in this day and age, and that its basically $10 additional to purchase it makes me not want to ever purchase a Brother product again. That's some low-down, greedy business. Alternatively, you can use environmentally harming AAA batteries.
Wastes a lot of the roll at the start of each print Great value overall, especially since this goes on sale quite regularly (if you can wait, wait until the price drops). But the annoying thing is that on every new label the printer must waste so much space before printing the label. Even at the absolute minimum setting (which you can change) the printer still starts off with a lot of blank space on the label.
plastic tape to make labels cost is outrageous! This looked “ok”, but they get you by not letting you know until you receive the product that the plastic tape you use to make labels with is outrageous. Sure it comes w/some but not enough to make more than a few practice labels. Save your money. Go to a copy store and have your labels printed each time. You would actually save money and have longer lasting, better quality labels.
Broken Doesn't work. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. I bought it and had it in a drawer for 6 months. Went to go use it and couldn't.
