A Must-Have for Homeschoolers This label maker is a must for homeschoolers! I love it. It is very easy to set up, just put in the batteries (not included) and the tape (included). you can then change some of the settings such as language, size, unit of measure etc. but it comes already set to English and inches, so I didn't really need to change anything. It is a QWERTY keyboard, and also has numbers and symbols. The built in cutting tool is nice and gives you a great, clean edge. I have not had any trouble with the tape jam... read more

Basic. This is a good basic labeler. It is not as fancy as the more expensive Epson my wife has, but that isn't a surprise. It will be fine for labeling classroom supplies. I do wish it came with an AC adapter since AAA batteries are just uncommon enough not to have on hand.

lots of fancy print options, but for indoor use only This is a nice labeler with lots of fancy and some silly print options. 2-line printing on a single label is very handy. The backing paper is very easy to remove from the labels, which isn't the case with some other label printers. The labeler requires 4 batteries, which are not included. There appears to be a power port on the side of the labeler, but the product description and manual do not say how to use that. I hate disposable batteries. Maybe we'll try rechargeable b... read more

Superb Labelmaker Great labelmaker with a lot of options. Very simple to use, I just wish it were hooked up to my mobile phone via bluetooth + an app or something like that. This is an excellent labelmaker, and will do better than most on the market that I have used already.

Primarily utilitarian This printer is fast and easy to use if you like all the defaults. Once you want to start changing things, you have to scroll through a bunch of menus to find what you are after and that can get a bit cumbersome, depending on what you're trying to do. As far as I can determine, there is only 1 font and so if you want something more decorative, you're out of luck. For our house, that pretty much limits its usage to labeling storage bins, closet shelves, etc. Oh, you can change the size (height and width)... read more

1.0 out of 5 stars Printed fine 5 times, then forever jammed Worked fine at first, then tape started jamming inside the machine and would not feed through the hole in the back. Can’t return because we no longer have the original packaging. Would not recommend.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke after using it a few times I've always bought this label maker, but whoever sold me this one through Amazon sent me a junk one. I barely used it, like 5 times and now it won't work and can't return it. So upset. What a waste of money. I went to Staples tonight and bought a new one.
