Makes Label Printing EASY Makes Label Printing EASY!! Also very easy to set up and get going on my Mac Mini... Love how quick it prints and using the included software (from the brother website) it makes printing custom labels a breeze. **NOTE: Ive not tried to use the bluetooth or wireless printing yet so I cannot comment on that mine is hooked into my local network. Also brother website says it comes with optional (sold Separately) detectable battery I have not found one nor have I really looked into that feature either.
Overall, Pretty Good Printer For the most part, this printer seems to work fairly well with AirPrint; I'm not a fan of the printer's mobile software; it seems quite crude. The only caveat I have is: I had hoped to use the printer's IPP support to print out my labels; unfortunately, when I tried doing that, the printer seemed to hang. The SDK Team at Brother is currently looking into that issue. Just what I needed for quick single mailing labels. Just what I needed. App is a little non user friendly at first until I figured it out. Quick connect to my wireless and generate and print labels from my iPad mini.
Updated Software. Now works with Mac OS Big Sur The older P-Touch software does not recognize that there is an upgraded version. If you have the older version, remove all P-touch software from your computer, and get the new version from the Mac App Store. It now works much better than the older software. More templates, proper recognition and updating of label sizes, etc. Tested this using a USB cable, so not sure how well it works via WiFi or Bluetooth. But a huge improvement over the old software.
Works great for barcodes. I needed to make barcodes for my business and the printer did a great job. it's very fast and automatically cuts the paper after printing.
An Excellent Label Printer This printer is an excellent tool for your office or any project. Use Bluetooth, Wifi, Ethernet, actually it prints from anywhere. The only drawback is the limited supplies available.
Easily pairs wirelessly with iPad visitor kiosk at our office This label printer was purchased to be used exclusively with our office kiosk for visitor name badges. The printer was super easy to set up and pair with an iPad via Bluetooth. The label rolls feed easily and the print quality is as expected. The label printer has been in regular use for over 1 year and had not had any issues thus far. Overall, a great printer.
Awesome Printer for retail labeling Printer works great. I bought it to make scanner tag labels for items in my car wash retail store. Works beautifully. Very easy to use. Hardest part was figuring out which barcode formats I had to use for my POS scanner to read. There’s 3 different barcode formats I have to use depending on length of barcode. Great purchase Love this little printer!! Took a little know how to figure out connection, but was able to decode things pretty easily. Prints quickly, works with my shipping program (pirateship) and I anticipate this will be a wonderful asset to my homebased business. One thing I do wish was identified on the description is that the rechargeable battery is MOT included. (Extra $99 is a separate purchase)
