Mum came into Rashwood Care Home initially for respite and decided to stay. It was a difficult decision for her, and she often rejected help, but staff were always patient and attentive and she knew how lucky she was to be provided with both beautiful surroundings and such high quality care. Since September 2022, when she became bedridden through illness and required both oxygen and nursing on the Pink Wing, its staff were dedicated to providing for her needs and carers would often try her with several breakfast choices as h... read more

My mum was at end of life and spent her last 2 weeks at Rashwood Care Home and I couldn’t fault the care and attention that my mum received during that time. The nurses and carers were amazing and couldn’t do enough not just for my mum but also for us as a family. “Thank you” Rashwood care team and management, you are all amazing.

The care home looked after my aunt extremely well. The hygiene was excellent, and the cuisine was first class too. All the staff were caring, friendly and professional. Alarm calls were answered very promptly. The surroundings are beautiful. Residents are able to feed the birds and watch the wildlife as well as admire the peacocks, so tame they would eat from your hand.

My mother was a resident in Rashwood Care Home for nearly 5 years. I cannot speak more highly of the care and compassion she received in this time. The staff from the manager down to the wonderful carers was the best she could have had in a 5-star hotel. We felt she was safe and extremely well cared for. We could not speak more highly of the care she received.

Level of welcome and care was fantastic. Took note of my father's needs and gave very high quality care. Room facilities were good, air bed made the stay more comfortable. The carers were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble.

Simply a great care home. Wonderful staff who really care about the residents, remembering habits and preferences as well as caring for residents similarly to a friend or relative rather than a carer. Excellent food, a great range of activities and pastimes, and very clean and beautiful views.

After hip surgery, I went into the care home for two weeks of respite before going home. I found the staff very helpful and pleasant at all times.

We were extremely satisfied with the quality of the end of life care provided to my father. From the initial assessment to the final moments and after, everybody at Rashwood Care Home from management to carers to cleaners was great. Caring, understanding and flexible. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Although Dad's ability to enjoy the food was already impaired by the time he arrived, the staff did an excellent job of catering to his needs. Rashwood Care Home is an exceptional care home. Located in an idyllic setting, it offers a unique experience to residents and their families. The manager and her team offer a professional, caring yet individual experience to all residents and are accessible and supportive to their families. This week we had a lovely birthday get-together with my sister in one of the home's lounges.
