I spoke to Fred and all sounded fine over the phone, I signed my paper work. Took it to UPS and mailed it with a Next Day UPS tag. My package some how got loss at Rate Genius. I gues there are no Geniuses there. They wasted my time and took away my trust. If you cant process overnite forms, Its a blessing and a warning NOT to do business. I was almost late for the 1st time messing with this business that smells like a scam .
3RD time to use them. This 3rd time, girl taking application is a jerk. Promised a call back that never happened. I get an impersonal email at 11pm stating I cancelled my application. I called at 3 the next day to find I did not qualify this time. RUDE, IMPERSONAL, LIARS, RATEGENIUS IS GOING DOWN THE TUBES. Chris, you need to hire me to fix your internal problems. Your company is nothing more than the worst collection agency out there. I hope you like the complement but your company deserves it.

Completely useless. They must just have a web site to draw advertsing money. Do not waste your time with this company as they are not relly in the business of lending. i had a very ordinary refi application on a car with equity. This was not a big bucks loan, under $11,000.00 I could have placed this on a credit card but figured i would get a lower rate. Bottom line, another entity claiming to be a lender but not really.
I applied for auto refinance loan at Rate Genius. They seemedmore interested in selling me auto insurance. They did not notify me of their decision regarding my application- I was able togo to their site and find that my loan had be denied (which is fine) but there was no specific reason for the denial. Isent the company a email through their web site requestingthe specific reason for the denial-I did not get a response. It seemed to me they really wanted to sell insurance rather than make an auto loan.
