Disappointed with some of the responses and actions: 1. Went in Wednesday to see a car I saw online during my lunch (car had no gas for test drive and I couldn’t wait). Went back that evening they filled with gas and I test drove it. 2. Called the salesman the next day, Thursday to ask what the payment amount would be if I decided to finance and was told that he couldn’t provide as he didn’t want to be committed to the payment amount (granted I later saw the car on universal Toyota with a payment calculator). I took my car in to get routine maintenance done, including replacing my serpentine belt. Within 200 miles, the belt failed and almost caused a major problem with my battery and alternator, forcing me to have to take the car into another ford location to fix the issue at significant cost. Sales staff and customer service is excellent though.
My husband & I purchased a 2020 f-350 platinum truck with 35k miles for $70,000 on June 9,2024. Fairly new vehicle. Things seemed fine, but a month later the truck started throwing codes. Finally it would not drive over 40mph and was completely messed up. we brought the f-350 into Red Ford McCombs for service at the direction of my Red McCombs Toyota sales rep on July 31, 2024. Have been having nothing but problems with this location after they did a full transmission flush on a vehicle with 30K miles on it. The techs during this flush overfilled the transmission and caused all the fluid to come erupting out while driving down the road. Now we take it in since the car is having a problem starting up. Come to find out its a old valve on a new vehicle that costs $900 to fix.
