TERRIBLE. The car salesman was extremely pushy about making the sale. He wanted us to purchase a vehicle that we just took a first look at 30 mins earlier. Im glad I did not pull through with this. The manager was very rude about a trade in we had and the value. We were told we were not the first ones to complain about this particular employee. When we 1st bought our truck it was in 3 times for detailing and replacement parts. All 3 times we asked them to check the tires and each time they failed to do so. I had to get the new truck sales manager to get my tires inflated. This time we had a oil change and tire rotation. When the vehicle was returned no tire rotation was done. The service manager then tried to put the bull on thick telling us they have a machine that rotates the tires without touching the hubs or tires. No. NoNoNo. Was promised the moon, and I should've known better! In the heat of the moment, and after being held for 6hrs with no food I was happy just to LEAVE! Wouldn't ya know it the next day my trans is slamming into 2nd, whining belt, boot is making noise, and the car won't start. 3k mile/3mo warranty?! Sure!!!! If you can get them to diagnose a problem. Wankers. Will definitely be contacting BBB after this. (Un)reliable Chevrolet should be held Liable for things they sell.
Save yourself the trouble and frustration and do not buy a car through this dealership. I have had the hardest time communicating with the different departments of this corporation. Their financing alone took me 3 months to sort everything out. Do not buy the extra insurance because it basically covers nothing. Do not trust their service center because I know more about cars than they do.
This Service Department is not a good one to deal with. I never used the Service Department until was overcharged on car loan and given a credit I had to use at Company - rip off second time. Then only place I really could use it was for oil changes - what a nightmare. Every time I have had to fight to keep from being overcharged. Today I went in for a $ 26.95 oil change - signed papers and low and behold while in bathroom husband was asked if he wanted Castrol Oil. No one told him it would cost more. I have been unfortunate enough to have to deal with this place. My daughter & her husband are now having to deal with them. They bought an extended warrenty with their vehicle and are now taking it back out for the 7th time due to problems. It is pre-owned; I get that, but their "service" dept mechanics apparently don't have the skills, knowledge, or the desire to fully repair the vehicle. I have an '02 Avalanche that likes to "eat" fuel pumps, 6 in just 180k miles.... I had the first replaced at a Chevy dealer in Harrisonville, MO that is no longer in business, and all the others up to the most recent were replaced by "Reliable" Chevrolet, here in Spfd, MO the most recent had to be replaced in the middle of Kansas while on vacation; it was not possible to get a GM dealer to replace it w/o incurring a 3 day wait since it failed over the weekend, so I found a fantastic fellow who got it all done w/in 5 hours,... read more
This dealership looks nice, but is most a bit sneaky and does not follow through with their words. I would recommend to anyone to travel over to Marshfield right away and avoid these liars at all costs. If we had been rich enough to avoid doing business with them by getting out of our loan, we would of. They sold us two vehicles, supposed program type cars, charged an extra 900 dollars each car to get them in like new condition--yet within 1 month we were due for oil changes and had a bad tire-not covered to handle. daughter took her car in for oil change. she was told the car needed two tires replaced and a coolant hose replaced right away. I ok'd the coolant hose since she was driving home (STL) and I knew the tires were ok.. after waiting an hour, she was told they couldn't replace the hose and she needed to make an appointment and return.
