Just had the truck into Dennis Hanks Chevy and they also said no need for ball joints.
After taking my car in and they made a key for it stating it worked great, yeah didn't work at all! refused to refund cause I took their word that it worked! Thanks Nick aka service advisor, ha for selling me a key that didn't work and then lie your ass off till I left! absolutely NO trust in this company!!
I paid 50.00 for a used car inspection for a chevrolet I was buying from a private seller. Driving the car less than 25 miles the serpentine belt broke.They totally missed an obvious flaw with the car. The report only said the brake pads need replacing as well as wind shield wipers which they refuse to pass it for inspection which I paid for beforehand. They refuse to take any responsibility for their incompetence.
Everytime I'm servicing or come to reliable chevrolet seems to be too busy. Wait time to change fuel filter is more that 2 hrs. After doing warranty work (diagnostic) 1/2 hour work time, I'm stuck here for more than 3 hours :( This gets more interesting, the service techs drove over a screw and guess what? Gotta wait some more, not very professional from the service department. They should have a complaint department, change the way you operate your business you will have more clients, come on guys, kick it up a notch!
The service Department is a joke. Where do I begin with this. Hmmm, brought my car in to them thinking they could diagnose the problem, told them from the start I did not want to put that much money into my 1999 Saturn. So they tell me it's the Ignition control Module and 2 coils. Funny thing is that I replaced that same parts 2 and 1/2 years ago and even called the place I had it repaired to verify that they were indeed replaced. Bought my corvette at reliable last December. General rule of thumb I NEVER buy add ons (service contracts, etc) they are not worth it. Plus the mark up on those is ASTRONOMICAL ! So... After some negotiating we purchased several. Long story short, when we bought these we were NEVER told skylink was NOT eligible to be cancelled. We purchased a new but used car at Reliable about a month ago. The experience was as you would expect. After a test drive a note for the sales man to "call his wife"... them telling us that another couple was waiting to test drive the same vehicle we were looking at so if we wanted it we should act now... etc etc. here's the thing... we would have still gotten the car without the stupid tactics and to be honest, it just makes me distrust the sales guy. This is for the service department. We have a Chevy HHR and the check engine light was on, and we took in to have it checked out. 6 times in was in there and they never fixed it. They changed sensors and everything and even went as far as changing the wiring harness. Still not fixed. I told them it was not the engine but the transmission. No one would listen. My complaint is with the service department. The staff was fine, no issues. I went there a while ago with an appointment for an oil change. It took over 3 hours! I was not happy. Went back recently ONLY because I had some warranty work. They got that done in about 1.5 hours and it took another 1.5 for the oil change. I don't have time to wait around there for that.
