I was looking for a place to schedule a massage with my mom for her 60th birthday. Many of the places I had heard of before were booked already, and after looking on Yelp I found Renew. Though they are only a small, one room studio, Lydia and Alicia agreed to put me and my mom in the room together so we could have our massages at the same time. I highly recommend Renew Massage. I was planning on scheduling a last minute appointment with my favorite spa due to shoulder and neck pain from an old injury. Lucky for me, the spa had no availabilities. After reading the reviews, I easily scheduled on-line with Lydia for a 90 minute massagae. No being placed on hold, no leaving messages and no unreturned calls ! I was seen within 5 hours and had a fantastic deep tissue massage which relieved my pain. I'm was in town for the day and decided on a whim to get a massage. I scheduled a 90 minute massage with Lydia with one day notice. I regularly get massages in my home town and thought Lydia's technique was excellent. She listened to my laundry list of aches and formulated an intelligent plan of attack. Alicia is FANTASTIC. I've never had a better massage. I have some issues with my shoulders and back, and she always relieves a lot of my tension and pain. Her new location is great, and she really creates a warm, cozy ambiance for the massage. Highly recommended. Her packages are also great and make it so you're paying less than you would almost anywhere else.

I too am here for a conference and had the same wonderful experience noted by other reviewers. The process couldn't have been easier. I booked and paid online and 15 hours later found myself face down under a warm sheet/blanket in a tranquil environment. Having made note of my particular issues, Alicia left me feeling "gumby-ized" ( my highest compliment to a massage therapist) and amazed that 90 minutes had passed. After planning a wedding, and then executing said wedding and honeymoon excursions, I was looking to get a well-earned massage. I had a gift certificate to another salon, but I wasn't too keen on the times they had available. But gosh darn it, I WOULD get my message at the time I desired, even if I had to pay full price... First of all, thanks Yelp, because I chose Renew based on your reviews. To me, massage therapy is not a treat or some way of pampering myself. It is something I consider a regular part of keeping myself in good shape like working out and going to the doctor. Booking online was ultimately what sealed the deal. Alicia not only completely got rid of a nagging pain I have had in my neck/back for several weeks (I could literally feel the knots dissipating over my 90 minute massage), but I had no idea the physiological benefits of massage done properly could be so great. I slept better than I have in a very long time, sugar and caffeine cravings are lessened, everything just seems to be flowing better. I am doing this every month!

I always get a little jumpy when people touch my back - it's a fear of breaking my back, weird I know...it's okay to laugh. Well Alicia dove right in and was perfect pressure, no ouch that hurts or are you just poking my back? It was an awesome massage, I almost feel asleep in my state of relaxation. After I was done with the hour I had wished I got the 90 mins - but I took advantage of her great deal and got an hour for my friend for the holidays. I'll be back!
